“From the Oscars to the US Presidential Elections”
Multi award winning journalist Katie Goodman will talk about more than 2 decades covering some of the biggest news stories in the UK and abroad. She will open up about her journey into journalism and the variety of genres she's covered. From the Oscars red carpet, to having a front seat at US Presidential Inaugurations, and giving a voice to those who don't have one, helping to change Government policies. She's been in front of the camera as a Presenter, but carved a successful career behind the camera as a Specialist Producer, winning the Society of Editors Producer of the Year in 2022.
Glasgow-born Katie will talk about the responsibility journalists have, and what it takes to get that "scoop" and what it's really like in the newsroom and behind the scenes.
