Lord Advocate of Scotland visits Archives Centre

We were honoured to welcome the Lord Advocate of Scotland, James Wolffe QC, to the Archives Centre and Garnethill Synagogue last week. The Lord Advocate brought us details of his father’s escape form Germany in the 1930s, his wider family story and background and shared documents with us for our collections. He was accompanied by representatives of the Crown Office and a journalist and photographer from The Herald – who published this article at the weekend
