HUGO RIFKIND
“From Princes Street to Fleet Street”
Hugo Rifkind is a British journalist, a columnist for The Times and a regular guest on The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4.
Hugo began his career in journalism for the show business website Peoplenews.com, before becoming a writer for The Times, the Evening Standard, GQ, Tatler and The Glasgow Herald. His novel, Overexposure, was published in 2006.
He has been writing for The Times since 2001, where he has many jobs. Today he writes editorials, an opinion column, a weekly TV review and the satirical diary My Week, as well as presenting a weekly show on Times Radio. He grew up in Edinburgh the son of former Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind and now lives in London with his wife and two children.
