The Scottish Jewish Archives Centre is delighted to present the next Speaker and Bagel Brunch on Sunday 22nd October 2023 at 12 Noon. (Doors open 11.30am)

“DOES REMEMBERING THE HOLOCAUST MAKE A DIFFERENCE?”

Olivia Marks-Woldman OBE has been Chief Executive of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust since 2012, overseeing Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD), the UK’s national day to commemorate the six million Jews murdered by the Nazis, all victims of Nazi persecution and those murdered in recent genocides.

HMD is now marked in thousands of organisations around the country, with support from the Royal Family, Prime Minister and senior faith leaders of all major UK religions.

She has extensive experience in the charity sector, having previously worked for Breast Cancer Care, Epilepsy Scotland, and Scope.

Olivia is a keen park runner, has three children, including one with special educational needs, one cat and one dog.

This event will take place at Eastwood House at  12 Noon
